Crowd:[disjointed] Hello Jenton.
Me: I'm afraid since the last time we met I have fallen off the wagon... Again.
Crowd: [mumbling].
Me: It has been [checks watch] three hours since my last miniature.
Crowd: [gasps]
Me: But it's not my fault! I tried to restrain myself and then the new format White Dwarf came out - you know, the one with the free Slaughterpriest? That's an £18 model... for free. I don't even really like Khorne but the new Bloodbound models are sweet. And. It's. Free. If you haven't picked up one yet you're either mad or lying.
[Dramatic Pause]
Me: I see the way you avert your eyes, the guilty looks passing between you; I bet there isn't a person here today without a copy hidden under the mattress, glue stained fingerprints marring its glossy surface! To make matters worse Metal King Studio announced a second Kickstarter, a Relicblade expansion. I frickin' love that little game, I know I can't resist that!
[Climbing onto a table and shouting]
And nor should I! I will not apologise. And neither should you. Stand with me brothers and sisters, be proud of your hobby and together we shall usher in a dawn of miniature gaming brighter than we have ever known...
Sorry about that, went a bit 300 towards the end there. So, well done if you have stayed with me, this was meant to be a simple introduction post but I got a little carried away (it happens). Anyway, to summarise. My name is Jenton and I am a lover of all things tabletop related but I have a particular fondness for miniatures gaming and boardgaming. The games I'm currently enjoying are Malifaux, 40K, Age of Sigmar and Relicblade, although I have an interest in many more - Dropzone/Fleet Commander, Guildball and Infinity to name a few; so many games, so little time (and money!)
This blog will be a mix of reviews of smaller games, updates on Kickstarter campaigns, my own hobby projects and discussion pieces, as well as the occasional hobby related writing pieces that I am want to do (don't worry, I will give you plenty of warning so that you can avoid these if you like).
